Matt first came to CornerStone State Bank in 2005 and was named President of the Belle Plaine branch in 2010. After graduating from Mankato State University in 1991, Matt has gained a diverse background working for both small and large banks in all areas of lending. Matt also spent four years working for a mortgage company. Matt specializes in real estate lending for all areas including personal, business, and agriculture, but has experience in all areas of banking.
Matt is currently involved in the Belle Plaine BBQ Days Committee and Belle Plaine Festivals and Events Committee and has also served on the Board of Directors for the Belle Plaine Chamber of Commerce and the Belle Plaine Basketball Association. Matt and his wife Melanie have three sons together and he enjoys spending time with family boating, skiing, snowmobiling, and traveling when possible. Matt also likes hunting, playing basketball, and coaching his son’s youth sports.
